About Me

Hello, My name is Rachel Kristensen, and I’m standing for Hollywood Ward Councillor in the upcoming City of Nedlands council election. My husband and I are raising our three children locally, with our youngest attending Hollywood Primary. Like many families—and long-term residents—we care about safe streets, good governance, green spaces, and development that maintains the character of our community. I’m an environmental lawyer and policy professional and I’m running to bring practical, transparent and more collegial decision-making back to council, with a focus on responsible finances and respectful planning.
